Mini Chowder Cup is back as Kings blank North Star.

FOXBORO – The 2022 edition of New England Pro-Am Hockey’s Mini Chowder Cup kicked off on Friday morning. First game on this year’s docket was an ’09 division matchup between North Star Elite White and South Shore Kings Gold at the Foxboro Sports Center. The Kings took the contest by a score of 2-0.

After a scoreless first half, the Kings struck in the second to take the victory. An unassisted powerplay goal from Joey Goguen and a score from Matthew Frias accounted for the game’s 2-0 final.

Jake Chenette and Cole Mehne assisted on the Frias goal, while Lucas Dolan posted the clean sheet in the South Shore net.
