Top Speed tops Prospects Hockey, 5-2.

CANTON – Top Speed hockey started their journey at the 2022 Mini Chowder Cup with a victory on Friday morning. The defeated Prospects Hockey 5-2 at the Canton Ice House.

It was a tight first half with each pair scoring twice to send the game to the intermission tied 2-2. A power play goal from Leo Beiron and a score from Alrik Lindgren accounted for the pair for Top Speed, while Jayson Ronsvalle and Daniel Pucci did the scoring for Prospects Hockey.

The second half was a bit of a different story as the Top Speed offense took off. Another special teams goal – this one a shorthanded score from Adam Larsson – a second score from Beiron and goal from Lucas Svensson cemented the 5-2 victory.

Beiron (2G), Lindgren (1G, 1A) and Oliver Ulander (2A) all had multipoint showings, while Jake Johnson posted the win in the Top Speed net.
