FOXBORO – There were goals aplenty when Mobile Hockey Development and Reider Hockey met on the Foxboro Sports Center ice, Saturday afternoon at the 2025 Pre Draft Showcase. A combined 15 scored in a contest that saw Mobile Hockey get the better of things and come away with the 9-6 College Open Victory.
Goals started pouring in right from the opening faceoff. Reider struck for four in the opening frame, while Mobile Hockey struck five times to take the 5-4 advantage into the halftime intermission.
Scoring went down in the second, but only by a tick. Mobile Hockey posted another four in the latter session. Reider’s offense lost pace, only netting a pair, leaving the score at its 9-6 final.
Mobile’s nine goals came from seven different scorers. The victorious effort also saw three multipoint scorers, led by four from Mikey Damon (3G, 1A), followed by three from Connor Merkle (1G, 2A) and two from Gavin Powderly (2G).
Reider also had a balanced attack, all five of their goals coming from a different goal scorer.
