ATTLEBORO – TSH Selects (Red) set a fine tone in their Jr. A opener at the 2025 Pre Draft Showcase. They dominated Edge Hockey Skills in an 11-3 victory on Friday at the New England Sports Village in Attleboro.
Little time was wasted by TSH in dispatching their foes as they doubled up on Edge in the first, taking a 6-3 advantage into halftime. Val Kurbos and Jack Llamas each scored twice in the opening frame, while Jack Kanzinger and Mathew Percsi each scored once for TSH.
It was more offensive dominance in the second for the Selects. Kurbos completed the hat trick and Kanzinger notched his second of the game in the second. Blake Abramson put away a pair of his own and Severio Sugerek rounded out the scoring with a goal with less than a minute remaining.
As brilliant as their offense was, TSH’s defense was equally so, shutting out Edge in the second half. Netminder Parker Roppelt credited with the win.
Kurbos’ three goals led the game in scoring with three points, while AJ Iwinski led Edge’s offense, credited with two of his side’s three tallies.
