FOXBORO – WC Swans Black U19 rode a second half comeback as they rallied for a 3-2 victory over SHC on Saturday morning at the Foxboro Sports Center.
It was the Swans in the end, but SHC led the contest early as a Jamie Case goal in the first and Sasha Marino goal early in the second put them up 2-0.
Things began to change late in the second period as Maddie Vittands cut into the SHC advantage and then Grace Matthews brought things back to even for the Swans, sending the game to the third period knotted at 2-2.
Geena Cookinham broke that tie late in the third with a goal that secured the 3-2 Swans win.
