Inspire shine early on Day 2.

FOXBORO – Inspire Hockey’s run through the U19 division of the 2024 Women’s Chowder Cup continued on Saturday morning. They hung an impressive 14-0 victory on Top Speed Hockey early at the Foxboro Sports Center.

After posting six goals in their opening victory on Friday, Inspire posted another six in the opening period against Top Speed. A feat they repeated again in the second period.

Inspire’s offense slowed a bit in the third with the victory well in hand, but not before another two goals to polish out the victory.

There were nine different goal scorers in the contest and seven different players with two points or more. Anika Singh (4G, 2A) led the assault with a game-high six points, seconded by Violet Carroll’s (2G, 3A) five.

Evelyn Lacey was credited with her second win and first shutout of the tournament.
