Repeat quest starts with a win for U16 Whalers.

FOXBORO – Looking to follow-up their U16 championship at the 2023 Women’s Chowder Cup with another, the Boston Lady Whalers U16 opened up the tournament’s 2024 edition with a shutout victory on Friday. They defeated Mole HC 8-0 at the Foxboro Sports Center.

Once the Boston offense got started, they became difficult to stop, rolling to a 5-0 lead through the game’s opening half. It was a five-goal first that was backed up by a three-goal second, resulting in the 8-0 victory.

Bella Viskovicz (2G, 1A) and Jemma McAlexander (2G) paced the Boston offense, each credited with multiple goals in the contest. Natalie Woo (1G, 1A) and Lizzy Callahan (2A) also posted multiple points.

Goaltender Jocelyn White posted the clean sheet from the Whalers net.
