Attleboro, Mass. — TSH New England erased two one-goal deficits before scoring the final seven goals of the game to defeat NorthStar Elite Green 2011, 9-3, and capture the Junior Chowder Cup 2011 Elite Division title.
GAME HIGHLIGHTS:
NorthStar Elite Green opened the scoring when Ben Nowak (#5) found the back of the net 2:12 into the game.
TSH New England responded with back-to-back goals from Jay Vivian (#13) and Conor Laffey (#18) to take their first lead at 2-1. NorthStar answered with goals from Luca Brunetti (#34) and Nowak (#5) to regain a 3-2 advantage midway through the period.
That lead didn’t last long. Smith Vantine (#11) tied the game with an assist from Levi Indes (#17) before Indes (#17) gave TSH New England the lead for good off a feed from JJ Doak (#14).
TSH New England continued to build their advantage as Liam Blanche (#16) scored with an assist from Nick Humiston (#4), Ethan Nelsen (#12) finished a pass from Andrew Dorr (#3), and Laffey (#18) netted his second goal of the game with Indes (#17) earning the assist.
Smith Vantine (#11) added two more goals to complete the hat trick, with assists from Gavin Thomas (#9) and Ryan Nates (#8), as TSH New England secured the 2011 Elite Division title.
