FOXBORO – The Quebec Prospects started off their College Open stint at the 2023 Chowder Cup right on Friday as they defeated Hockey Club Elite 4-2 at the Foxboro Sports Center.
Prospects had them doubled up at the end, and they doubled up Elite throughout, taking each half by a score of 2-1 to amount to the 4-2 final.
All four of Quebec’s goals came from a different goal scorer. Louis-Carl Tremblay, Tristan Poor, Tristan Gagnon and Anthony Hall each with a score for the victors.
Olivier Touchette’s three assists for Quebec led the game in scoring. Sam Clusiau was credited with the win in net.
Zachariah Staenz and Gage Kloeber were responsible for the Hockey Club Elite goals.
