Punisher Hockey beats up on Edge Hockey Skills, 7-4.

CANTON – It was a strong start to their Jr. A division bracket play at the 2023 Chowder Cup for Punisher Hockey. They defeated Edge Hockey Skills 7-4 on Thursday morning at the Canton Ice House.

Punisher got on Edge from the start, doubling up their opponent to take a 4-2 first half advantage into the intermission. Punisher goals came from Myles Kidd, Michael Lynch, Jackie Murphy and Mac Ward to get out to their early lead. Matt Welch and Chris Skelley were each credited with a first half goal for Edge.

Trends continued in the second as Punisher continued to pour it on, potting three more to extend their lead. Lynch completed a hattrick with two in the second, while Kidd added his second to round out Punisher’s seven goals in the contest.

Max Leiman scored a pair of his own in the second for Edge to round out the game’s 7-4 final.
