CANTON – JDM Sports (White) made it two wins in two games at the 2023 Chowder Cup when they defeated the North Shore Coyotes 3-1 on Friday morning at the Canton Ice House.
All scoring came in the second as JDM goaltender Michael Shelley and North Shore counterpart Owen Holland both did their job in their respective nets in the first, thrwarting all chances sent their way to send the game to halftime still even at 0-0.
When the offenses finally struck in the second, JDM got the better of things in scoring three straight. Nicholas DeGeorge, Justin Yu and Easton Salscheider each with a goal during the JDM run.
North Shore got a goal from Chase Darcey, but that was all the scoring to be had for the Coyotes, leaving the score at its 3-1 final.
Shelley got the start, but batterymate Brady Blackburn was credited with the win for JDM, coming on for the game’s second half.
