CEM makes for a perfect prelim.

ATTLEBORO – It was three up and three down for CEM Hockey throughout the preliminary round of the 2021 Pre-Draft Showcase. They closed out their opening slate with a 5-1 win over the Boston Jr. Rangers on Saturday at the New England Sports Village in Attleboro.

CEM came out swinging and did not look back in their quest for their third win of the tournament. Goals from Michael Moreira and Jagger Benson staked CEM a 2-0 lead. Gagnon Garrison put the Rangers on the board, but a goal from John Camp restored CEM’s two-goal margin, 3-1, before the halftime break.

The two-goal lead would have been enough, but that did not stop Andrw Stefura from adding another pair for CEM to truly solidify the 5-1 victory.

Connor Strobel backstopped the victory in the CEM net.
