FOXBORO – With the preliminary round of the 2021 Pre-Draft Showcase coming to a close, JDM Sports Blue notched a 5-3, Jr. A win over Roc City Elite Black on Saturday evening at the Foxboro Sports Center.
JDM came out swinging with a goal in the first and did not look back as the two sides traded goals in a half that saw JDM going to the locker room with a 3-2 advantage. It was a script that was very similar in the second half with JDM’s Gavin Dach opening the half’s scoring with a power play goal at 6:20 and the two sides going back-and-forth from there to bring the score to its 5-3 final.
Jack McKenna (2G), Dach (1G, 1A) and Robby Kenyon (1G, 1A) each had a pair of points in leading the JDM offense, but it was Roc City’s Justin Harshaw (2G, 1A) who led the game in scoring with a three-point contest.
