DEDHAM – The Westchester Warriors continued their strong College Open start to the 2023 Chowder Cup on Friday afternoon at Boch Ice Center. They posted their second win of the tournament when they defeated the EH Team 4-2.
It took a while for the offenses to breakthrough, the game remaining scoreless for the majority of the first half. A last minute goal from Andrew Fenniger the only mark in the opening frame, and one that sent Westchester to the intermission with a 1-0 advantage.
There were more goals to be had in the second as the two sides combined for five. Westchester and EH went back-and-forth before Eddie Kienzie capped things of with his third goal of the half, giving the Warriors the cushion they needed for their 4-2 win.
