BRIDGEWATER – Down at Bridgewater Ice Arena West, TeamONE ’08 rounded out their preliminary round at the 2022 Mini Chowder Cup with win on Saturday. They defeated the Chicago Clovers by a margin of 6-2.
TeamONE was all over the Clovers from the start, striking for four in the first to take a comfortable advantage into the break. Brody King, Rocco Weaver, Leo Wilsey and Thomas Fiermont were each credited with a score in the opening frame.
Chicago did get on the board in second with goals from Raymond Caris and Nolan Wand, but those two scores matched TeamONE’s two scores in the frame. Another from Wilsey and one from Mark Nerrick rounding out the 6-2 cruise to victory.
Goaltender Declan Buckler posted his second win of the tournament for TeamONE.
