TCB South ices Freezers.

ROCKLAND – TCB Hockey South has been on a run through the 2009 division of the 2023 Mini Chowder Cup, and that assault continued on Saturday morning as they put a heavy 10-2 victory on the NE Freezers at Lovell Arena.

A rocky first – which saw them trailing 5-2 at the break – got worse for the Freezers in the second half. TCB doubled their offensive output in the latter frame, while netminder Kalem Lelievre was on point to shut down any offense the Freezers attempted to generate and solidify the 10-2 victory.

Carter McCune (2G, 1A) led the charge for TCB offense with a game-high three points. Sebastien Chalifour (2G), Max Windel (2G) and Tommy Brunette (1G, 1A) also had multipoint showings for TCB.

Cole Thomas and Tyler Dmytryck were credited with the Freezers goals.
