ROCKLAND – TCB Hockey North capped off a perfect 4-0-0 run through the preliminary round of the 2023 Mini Chowder Cup on Saturday when they defeated NorthStar Elite 6-1 at Lovell Arena.
It was TCB’s contest from the start, Kyle Paquette and Johnathan Trudeau opening the game’s scoring to give TCB a 2-0 lead at halftime.
NorthStar broke into the scoring column in the second with a Zac Corbett goal, but for as good as the TCB offense was in the first, it was better in the second. They poured on four more goals in the latter frame, including a Brady Nichol hattrick, to solidify the 6-1 win.
Goaltender Maxim Brodeur backstopped his second win of the day in the TCB net.
