FOXBORO – In their maiden voyage at the 2021 Pre-Draft Showcase, Reider Hockey just nicked off CWE Black for a 2-1 victory at the Foxboro Sports Center.
Just as the game started, so the first half ended, as the team’s went to the locker rooms set at a 1-1 draw. Carson Stickley for Reider and CWE’s Ryan Simon were each credited with a score to make things even at the break.
The contest was just as tight in the second as the two sides struggled for the win. In the end, it was Stickley who came through again with a score that put Reider on top for good.
While Stickley did the scoring, Garret Lusk commanded things from the Reider net, posting a second half clean sheet to preserve the 2-1 win.
