Roc City shuts out 67’s in Friday’s final game.

DEDHAM – In the finale of the 50 games listed on Friday’s docket at the 2018 Sr. Chowder Cup, Roc City Elite Red shutout the Mass Edge 67’s 3-0 on Friday evening at Boch Ice Arena in Dedham.

Roc City wasted no time in breaking onto the score sheet and taking control of the game. Keitaro Yasuda started the game’s scoring at 1:27 of the first half. Taft product and defenseman Andrew Ebersol then increased the Roc City lead to 2-0 on his score at 4:17.

As quickly as things started, they slowed just the same. The two early goals were all that were in the contest until late when Alex Bauer, the game’s leading scorer with one goal and one assist, deposited the empty netter to finalize the 3-0 score.

Hunter Adams posted the shutout in net for the victors.
