Roc City, CWE draw as NEPAHL hockey returns to the ice.

FOXBORO – The long wait for the New England Pro Am Hockey League to return to the ice is over as the Pre-Draft Showcase got kicked off on Friday morning. The opening slate of games started with Roc City Elite Young Guns White playing CWE SD Sabres to a 2-2 draw in College Open play at the Foxboro Sports Center.

Neither team managed to find the scoring column in the first, but the action took off in the second half, trading shots. CWE got things started on a goal by Dylan Travis at 6:24, a score countered by Roc City’s Joshua Bianchi at 10:08.

Steven Soos had CWE back on top at 14:18. It was a goal assisted on by Malakai Lynch and Logan Motz that almost gave CWE the win until Joseph Arnold ruined the party in the closing minutes. His goal for Roc City at 24:56 brought the game to an even 2-2, where it remained through the closing buzzer.
