Coaches Choice notch first win at the Pre-Draft.

FOXBORO – The first recorded victory in the post-pandemic NEPAHL goes to Coaches Choice Jr. A. They toppled Roc City Elite Black 3-0 on Friday morning at the Foxboro Sports Center.

After much of the first was played scoreless, Coaches Choice exploded late to take a stranglehold of the scoreboard. Kenneth Baek, Juuls Jardine and Colin Rosato (on the power play) all contributed a score in the latter portion of the opening half for a 3-0 lead at the break.

That is where the score remained as netminder Aleks Sumoski came on in relief to play the second half for Roc City and shut the door on Coaches Choice. His performance, however, was upped by his Coaches Choice counterpart Josh Rosenzwig who had kept the door closed all game, posting a shutout. The game went final at 3-0.
