Militia White blanks Boston

East Coast ‘98’s run away with win after big second half.

CANTON – East Coast Militia White split their ’98 Division record back to 1-1 after defeating the Boston Hockey Club 5-0 on Friday morning at the Canton Sports Plex.

The scoring was slow to unfold in the first half, the only goal coming late as Noah Williams gave the Militia the only lead they would need at 22:15. It was a much different story the second 25:00, however, East Coast finding their scoring touch early as they rolled to victory.

Danny Sorabella kicked off the barrage with his goal just 2:23 into the second half. The lead grew to 3-0 when Nicky Caprio scored his first goal of the tournament at 12:56 and then 4-0 a little over 2:30 later on a shorthanded goal by Daniel Tsiampas. Kimball Union product Alex Heinritz then capped the game’s scoring at 23:24, setting the score at its 5-0 final.

Williams ended the contest as the game’s leading scorer, the only player with multiple points to their credit, registering one goal and two assists.
