ATTLEBORO – It was twos aside for Roc City Elite and Little Rhody/DMV as the teams played to a 2-2 draw on the opening day of the 2022 Pre-Draft Showcase.
The contest was tight all the way through. Roc City and Little Rhody remained deadlocked at 0-0 until late in the first half when Carson Zick gave Roc City the narrow, 1-0 lead they took into the halftime break.
A power play goal from Christian Williams got Little Rhody back to even early in the second frame. Alexander Yeung restored Roc City’s one-goal advantage as the game approached the midpoint of the second, but a shorthanded score from Andrew Weston less than a minute later put Little Rhody back to even and set the score at its 2-2 final.
