CANTON – Elev802 Boston’s tournament did not get started until late on the first day of the 2023 Chowder Cup, but it did start right as they opened with a 4-3 win over CHG on Thursday night at the Canton Ice House.
While they did get the win, Elev802 never truly escaped CHG as the game’s score remained close throughout. Elev802 staked themselves a 2-1 lead through the game’s first half, and it was a one-goal lead that remained as both sides netted a pair in the second for the 4-3 final.
It was a balanced attack for Elev802, each of their four goals coming from a different player. Liam Crowley leading the victorious offense with a pair of assists.
Matthew Anderson, Tim Hayden and Nicolas Piluso were each credited with a goal for CHG.
