Cyclones a perfect 2-0-0.

FOXBORO – A slow start turned into a victory for the Northern Cyclones U18 at the 2018 Midget Fall Classic. They rallied to defeat the Wonderland Wizards 5-3 on Sunday at the Foxboro Sports Center.

The first half belonged to the Wizards as they led by a score of 3-2 at the break. A pair from Michael Tersoni – including one on the power play – and one from Karim Garifullin staked the three goals for the Wizards. Stephen Higgins and Cory Morris were on the board for the Cyclones.

When the teams returned to the ice, the Cyclones took off and slammed the door on their foes. Morris and Adam Schechart (on the power play) netted goals to put the Cyclones in front. Ryan Mahleister then polished off the victory and punctuated the 5-2 win.

Spencer Pierce was credited with the win in net for the Cyclones.
