CWE with the win over Anchors, 5-2.

FOXBORO – With the opening day of the 2022 Jr. Chowder Cup drawing to a close, CWE Retro took to the ice at the Foxboro Sports Center and posted a 5-2 victory over the NJ Anchors in ’07 division play.

The scoring got going early in the first, with the Anchors drawing first blood. Three goals were scored before five minutes had gone off the clock, resulting in a 2-1 NJ lead.

As the first wore on, the CWE offense picked up, scoring twice more before frame’s end to take a 3-2 lead into the intermission. The assault continued into the second as CWE put away another two to solidify their 5-2 victory.

It was a balanced attack for CWE, each goal coming from a different scorer. Wesley Jackson, Quinlan Parry, Christopher Muschar, Matteo Cuccovia and Brandon Reid all with an entry in the scoring column, while Jacob Hanlon backstopped the win in the CWE net.
