ATTLEBORO – Three was seemingly the magic number of the day for Corners Hockey Club (White) on Saturday morning at the New England Sports Village. It was the third day of play at the 2025 Sr. Chowder Cup. They notched their third win of the tournament in a victory over Little Rhody/DMV (White Jr. A) that was secured by scoring three goals in each half of a 6-2 final.
Both of the game’s halves played out in similar fashion. Each was played to a 3-1 score. Corners scoring twice, Little Rhody scoring one of their own before Corners notched another before the half’s end, accounting for the 6-2 decision.
It was a balanced attack for Corners, all six of their goals coming from a different skater. Mikey Ronan and Luke Allen led the charge, each credited with a goal and two assists. Brady Ellis also finished the game with multiple points for Corners, credited with a goal and an assist.
Jack Nolan and Keegan DeMarzio were credited with the Little Rhody goals in the contest.
