ATTLEBORO – In their first game at the 2021 Jr. Chowder Cup, APHD notched their first win. They defeated Little Rhody-DMV Blue 3-2 on Saturday at New England Sports Village.
Little Rhody opened the game’s scoring on a Justin Drohen goal near the five-minute mark of the first half. APHD had a three-goal run in them, however, to close out the half and make it 3-1 at the break. Jacob Lauber, Zach Rochette and Holden Koufman each credited with a score.
Michael Healey got Little Rhody back to within one at 3-2 with his second half score, but it was the final score of the contest. Jean Luc De Gaspe Beaubien closing out the victory from the APHD net after coming on in relief of Connor Sheridan to start the second half.
