Advantage U16 nab first win.

FOXBORO – After playing to a draw in their opening game of the 2018 Midget Fall Classic, Boston Advantage U16 rung one up in the win column Sunday morning. They defeated Providence Hockey Club 4-0 at Foxboro Sports Center.

It took until the second half to get the scoring started as Boston and Providence played at 0-0 through the opening half. Once the clock ticked over, however, the Advantage took control.

Parker Spies started the scoring at 4:58. Then Patrick Liddy (11:24), Connor Cooke (15:01) and Matthew McLellan (22:28) all followed in succession to close out the 4-0 victory.

With a goal and two assists apiece, Liddy and Cooke led all scorers in the contest. Netminder Robbie Starkey, Jr., was credited with the shutout victory.
