FOXBORO – Roc City Elite Red, bolstered by a second half explosion, posted a 6-4 victory over NY Apple Core on Friday at the Foxboro Sports Center.
Things were looking to be a much different contest through the opening half. Apple Core struck thrice to Roc City’s once for the 3-1 advantage at the intermission.
Then in the second the Roc City offense came to life. They struck for five, led by Will Rivet who was credited with five of his team’s six goals in the contest, including one shorthanded and one on the power play.
Matthew Lawhon was credited with the other Roc City goal and Dylan Gorman was credited with the win in net.
