Rapid Hockey ’06 finish prelims with flawless record.

FOXBORO – Nary a foe has been able to stand down Rapid Hockey Development ’06 through the preliminary round of the 2019 Mini Chowder Cup. They finished a perfect 4-0-0, culminating with a 3-1 victory over Coaches Choice Black on Saturday at the Foxboro Sports Center.

The game took both halves to complete, but Rapid Hockey did all the damage they needed in the first of those two. Mathieu Gosselin and Etienne Giroux came through with the scores for a 2-0 Rapid advantage at the break.

Coaches Choice was able to get on the board in the second half with a Parker Forlin goal, but it was not enough to spark a full comeback rally. There was still more to come from Rapid, their side’s scoring closing as it opened on a Gosselin goal for the 3-1 finish.

Netminder Zack Tremblay was credited with the victory for Rapid Hockey.
