Boston Knights score 4-1 win.

CANTON – It was their first game of the 2021 Jr. Chowder Cup and also the Boston Knights’ first win as they defeated NA Alliance 4-1 on Friday at the Canton Ice House.

Not much scoring to be had by either side in the first, Boston netminder Brendan Nee and Alliance counterpart John Barry keeping the goal columns mostly clean. The only blemish went on Barry’s record as Danny Collins gave the Knights a 1-0 advantage at 12:36 of the first half. It was a 1-0 score that lasted through halftime.

Boston did not waste much time extending their lead to 2-0 as Luke Pazzia put one away just over two minutes into the latter frame. And 2-0 was where the score remained until late when Anthony Zheng got Alliance on the board and made it 2-1.

The Knights had a couple of late goals of their own in their offense as Noah Thorpe and Caleb Hu were each credited with a score in the closing minutes to solidify the 4-1 victory.
