Nailers secure win in the first.

DEDHAM – The New England Nailers ’02 wasted no in pursuit of their first win on Saturday morning. Their offense sprung in the opening half as they defeated Aces Hockey 4-0 at the Boch Ice Center.

Aces had penalty issues for much of the contest and it bit them early against the Nailers. Colin Rosato was on the board with a power play goal 3:36 after the opening face-off.

It was the first of four goals in the frame. All of the game’s scoring came in the opening 25-minutes, each of the Nailers’ goals coming from a different skater. Jack Bayreuther at 8:08, Graydon Schweizer at 16:26 and Reagan Lyon on the power play at 20:45 accounted for the scoring.

While the offense went to work in the first half, goaltender Nick Pike and the Nailer defense did the job on the second finishing off the 4-0 shutout victory.
