46ers double up Swans, 4-2.

FOXBORO – The Adirondack 46ers brought their preliminary round at the 2022 Women’s Chowder Cup to a close with a win Saturday at the Foxboro Sports Center, defeating the WC Swans 4-2.

While it was the 46ers in the end, the Swans took control of things in the game’s second frame. Trailing 1-0 after the first, the Swans got power play goals from Lim Kerstyn and Mia Ollari to take a 2-1 lead into the game’s third period.

Down one, the 46ers closed strong in the game’s final 15, netting three to take the game’s final lead. Brook Terry, Jaryn Chubb and Katherine Smith each with a score to finalize the 4-2 victory.

Chubb added two assists to go with the goal for a game-high three points (1G, 2A), while Mackensie Garrow posted the win in the 46ers net.
