Universal Prospects double up Hockey Development, 6-3.

Pre Draft Showcase started back in 1989. It our 35 year anniversary this year.

FOXBORO – Universal Prospects QHP upped their preliminary round record at the 35th annual Pre Draft Showcase to 2-1-0 on Saturday morning at the Foxboro Sports Center. They did so with a 6-3 defeat of Hockey Development 360.

While Universal may have had some distance in the end, the game was tight through the first half. Each team scored thrice in the frame to send things to the intermission knotted at 3-3. Dominic Schnarr twice and Taitt Dobbin once for Universal. Hockey Development matched with a pair from Michael Seisser and one from David Grillis.

Universal went to work on both ends of the ice out of the break. The offense contributed three more, getting goals from Zack Jockers, Vincent Simard and Oliver Dubord. Netminder Maxence Picard and the Universal defensive corps were unthwarted on the backend to solidify the 6-3 victory.

Schnarr had an assist to go with their two goals to finish with a game-high three points.
