CANTON – Opening their College Open schedule for the week, Top Speed Hockey posted a 6-3 victory over Stellabotte S&D in Canton on Thursday morning at the 2022 Sr. Chowder Cup.
Top Speed pulled away in the end, but the first half started and ended with an even score, both sides netting a pair in the frame. Harry Ahlberg and Jowin Ahn credited with the scores for Top Speed, Zach Baker twice for Stellabotte.
After a goal in the opening minute of the frame, Top Speed began to pull away in the second half, scoring four times to Stellabotte’s once. The game ending at 6-3.
Each of Top Speed’s six goals came from a different skater, while Baker (2G) and Top Speed’s Sean Pomerantz (2A) finished as the game’s only multipoint scorers.
