Top Junior Age Teams Enter Pre-Draft Showcase

The 2012 60 team International Pre-Draft Showcase, has presently seen 37 teams committed early for the tournament to be held this coming May here in Boston, Massachusetts.

Among them are some notable returnees such as Lou Gravel’s Firstar Canada West teams, Mark Lotito’s Hockey Essential teams, Mark Kumpel’s Walpole Express, Frank O’Connor’s New England Nordiques, Dave Rennie’s Jr. Hockey Prospects, and Ryan Frew’s New England Prospects.

Veteran returnees include Caleb Wyse’s North Coast Hockey Development team from Ohio, the Philadelphia Little Flyers with John Giacobbo Jr. at the helm, and Justin Stanlick’s Wildcats Elite team.

Wyse and Stanlick are former winners of the Pre-Draft Showcase.

Four new strong additions will include Mike Beharrell’s Europe Hockey Group (two teams) which will include players from Sweden, Finland, and Russia, Dan Garneau’s Tigers Hockey (also two teams) from Canada, which will have some top Junior Age College Eligible players dotting his rosters, and last, but not least, Vincent Montalbano, Scout for the St. Louis Blues, with his East Coast Kings whose roster will comprise some of the best players from around the United States as well as some members of the NTDP.
