Threes Hockey 2011 Erases Two Deficits to Beat Cumberland Hornets in Overtime, 3-2

Foxborough, Mass. — Threes Hockey 2011 erased two one-goal deficits before Justin Kujawa (#19) scored 53 seconds into overtime to earn a 3-2 victory over the Cumberland Hornets on Sunday in Junior Chowder Cup playoff action.

GAME HIGHLIGHTS:

Cumberland Hornets grabbed the lead early when Nolan St-Louis (#49) scored off assists from Elek Lapierre (#89) and Rowen Watson (#90). Threes Hockey 2011 answered midway through the period as Joe Hellinger (#12) found the back of the net with help from Bennett Waddell (#8).

The Hornets regained the lead later in the period when St-Louis (#49) scored his second goal of the game, this time assisted by Emanuel Peralta Chouinard (#24). Threes Hockey 2011 responded before the end of regulation as Justin Kujawa (#19) converted a pass from Hellinger (#12) to even the score at 2-2.

Just 53 seconds into overtime, Kujawa (#19) found the back of the net again to complete the comeback and lift Threes Hockey 2011 to a 3-2 playoff victory.
