ATTLEBORO – The Swans made it a perfect 3-0-0 in the preliminary round of the 35th annual Pre Draft Showcase after defeating Prestige Hockey Placement 3-1 on Saturday at the New England Sports Village.
It was a clean scoresheet through one as both Swans netminder Sumner Wood and Prestige counterpart Kyle Kim were unbeatable in their respective goal cages.
Scoreless into the second half, the offenses began to break through in the game’s latter frame. Edward Mirigliano struck twice and Nick Blanchette once for the Swans three tallies, while William Horion was the only member of Prestige able to solve the riddle of Wood, giving the game it’s 3-1 final.
