Roc City over Sharks on Day 3.

ATTLEBORO – With their preliminary slate at the 2021 Jr. Chowder Cup coming to a close, Roc City Futures White closed strong on Saturday against the Long Beach Sharks. A five-goal second half charging a 6-3 victory at New England Sports Village.

Long Beach, who had struggled to find success on the first two days of the tournament, came out looking to change their fortunes, netting the game’s first goal. This one courtesy of Jack Ryan at 7:06 of the first half. The 1-0 lead looked as though it was going to be one that would last until the break until Patrick O’Neil scored in the closing minutes for a 1-1 halftime score.

While there was minimal scoring in the first, there was anything but in the second. Roc City’s offense took off for an impressive five in the frame, led by a hat trick from Willem Kotary. Long Beach managed a pair of the own in the second, but they could not slow down and overcome the Roc City assault. The game ended 6-3.
