FOXBORO – One of the first games of the day at the Foxboro Sports Center to be played in the 35th annual Pre Draft Showcase was a 3-2 Worcester Railers victory over the US Express, 3-2, in the College Open division.
Worcester rode for three in the first on their ride to victory. Brady Leonard, Donny Sousa and Zackary Warner-Senee each scored to give their side an advantage from which they would not look back.
The Express were on the board in the first with a William Mclean goal, and then were the only team to score in the second courtesy of Dawson Anderson. Those, however, were the only marks to sneak by Railers goaltender Kaden Bono, who was credited with the 3-2 victory from the Worcester net.
