FOXBORO – With a 2-1-0 record, the CWE Prospects stay at the 2025 Sr. Chowder Cup came to an end on Saturday at the Foxboro Sports Center, but it was a fine end. They topped the US Express 6-1 in College Open play.
CWE got things going in the first, running out to a 4-1 lead, and they did not look back. They padded their lead with two more goals in the second, rounding out the 6-1 victory.
Connor Batcha led the way for the Prospects with a pair of goals. Vincent Riedlmayer also had multiple points for the victors, with a goal and an assist. Jake Falevich, Devin Gosciak and Xavier Painton had the remaining CWE goals.
Owen Kocian was credited with the goal for the Express.
Mason Caruso was credited as the winning netminder.
