FOXBORO – It was two up and two down for Pro Hockey Development on the first day of play at the 2018 Mini Chowder Cup. Their second win of the day came Friday evening at the Foxboro Sports Center by virtue of a 5-1 win over the All-American Prospects.
The two sides came out fast, each scoring a goal in the first three minutes of the contest. While it was just the beginning for Pro Hockey, it was unfortunately the end for the All-American offense. Pro Hockey netminder Jackson Parsons settled in and shut the door following Josh Davies’ goal at 2:41 of the first half.
It was a total of three goals in the first, including a shorthanded score by Cedrickson Okitundu at 14:47, and another pair in the second to cap off the 5-1 victory.
All five Pro Hockey goals came from a different skater. Connor MacDonald and Joseph Ianniello were each credited with a goal and an assist as the game’s only multipoint scorers.
