The New England Pro Am family extends their deepest sympathies to the families, friends and teammates closely affected by the recent incident involving the Humboldt Broncos.
On the evening of April 6, a bus carrying players and personal for the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League team was involved in a fatal accident en route to a playoff game when struck by a semi-trailer. Of the 29 on the bus, 15 have passed and 14 were left critically injured.
In the wake of a tragedy that touched across the hockey community – including the Canada West program – support came from all over, including a GoFundMe page setup to support the families that raised more than $4-million dollars in less than 48 hours.
