PAL Islanders a perfect 3-0-0

Pre Draft Showcase started back in 1989. It our 35 year anniversary this year.

CANTON – The PAL Islanders ran it to a perfect 3-0-0 College Open start to the 35th Annual Pre Draft Showcase on Saturday afternoon. They defeated RVA 5-2 at the Canton Ice House.

It was PAL from the start as they ran out to a 4-0 lead in the game’s opening half. Angelo Coshignano, Graedon Fair, Chase Carkner and Alex Marascuiulo all credited with Islanders goals during that run.

A Jacob Moore – who ended the game credited with both for RVA – goal as time expired in the first was not enough to change the tide of the game. Returning for the second half, both defenses locked down in front of their respective goaltenders – RVA’s Jake Heider and Islanders counterpart Taniel Karabehossia – allowing just one strike aside to bring about the 5-2 final.
