FOXBORO – Ottawa Attack Red has opened their College Open division slate at the 2018 Pre-Draft Showcase and they have done some with a victory. They held off the Mass Edge 67’s for a 4-3 victory on Friday at the Foxboro Sports Center.

Ottawa started early as Dylan Pudrycki gave them a 1-0 lead just 2:33 into the contest with the first of his two first-half goals. It lasted there until the later parts of the first half when Pudrycki broke the deadlock once again. His second score coming at 17:23.

It was the first of two for Ottawa in the later minutes of the first, Samuel Edwards making it 3-1 Attack going into the break.

Mass Edge was to make things interesting in the second half and did not wait long to do so as Ryan Coady made it a one-goal game just 38-seconds into the second half. The breathing room was back for the Attack at 4:57 when Brady Eagan scored, but Mass Edge made another rally bid.

Rocco DiFazio scored at 23:21 of the second half to once again bring the 67’s within one of their foe, but once again that one goal was as close as they were able to get. The Attack withstanding the rally to claim the 4-3 victory.
