CANTON – In their debut at the 2021 Pre-Draft Showcase, Ohio Prospects opened to thunderous applause with an impressive 7-1 win over Coastal Elite on Friday morning at the Canton Ice House in Jr. A Division play.
The start was a strong one for Ohio, staking themselves a 3-0 lead in the game’s opening half. Graham Broadfoot, Kade Contrael and Nolan Goudy coming through with the scores.
Much to the dismay of Coastal Elite, the second half featured much of the same. They did get on the board on a goal by Ryan Pompeselli, but Ohio continued their scoring attack, putting away another four.
A pair from Broadfoot completed a hattrick, while one each from Sal Poggiali and Doug Doren completed the game’s scoring at 7-1.
Carson Frye backstopped the win from the Ohio net.
