FOXBORO – It was a 2-1, Jr. A victory for Nomadic Hockey Development over the Bridgewater Bandits in preliminary round play of the 2023 Pre-Draft Showcase on Friday at the Foxboro Sports Center.
The action came in the second half as Nomadic and the Bandits played a scoreless opening frame. Nomadic netminder Ryan Pico and Bridgewater counterpart Brendan Flanagan keeping the scoresheet clean in the first.
Nomadic’s Nick Storti broke the scorelessness to open the second. The Bandits rallied with a Jacob Lehan goal to draw things back to even at 1-1, but Max Stek punctuated the scoring and the Nomadic victory with his goal in the closing minutes to solidify the 2-1 victory.
