The New England Pro Am family offers their condolences, with special sympathies to his wife Rose, on the passing of Sean Gray.
Gray was the founder of Acme Hockey and head coach of Team Ontario Prospects, which has been a regular fixture at Pro Am tournaments throughout the years.
While the Prospects have enjoyed productive showings when traveling to NEPAHL events, the true success and focus of Gray’s programs came from his desire to create a place for AA players and coaches to be treated and developed for the AAA level and beyond.
“At the end of the day, if I can play a small role in an individual, a coach or a team’s improvement, then I’ve done my job,” Gray once said.
Sean recently passed away due to a heart attack at the age of 47.
