New England Pro AM Hockey would like to congratulate alum Jimmy Vesey on winning the 2016 Hobey Baker Memorial Award.
A finalist in 2015, Vesey took home the award in 2016, given annually to the best player in NCAA Division I men’s ice hockey. The Harvard forward garnered the accolade after recording 24 goals and 46 points in 33 games for the Crimson. Vesey was also named the Ivy League and ECAC Player of the Year in 2016.
The third round NHL Draft choice participated in the 2013 Senior Chowder Cup, playing for Coach Tom O’Connor and the NE Nordiques,
